1969

The Beginnings

Where it all began

An artisanal custom manufacturing workshop, Maison GIANNINI was established in 1969, after Madame Giannini trained from the age of 13 as a seamstress and knitter at Bettina, Jimaille, and La Marco in Monaco. In its early days, the house provided subcontracting for major brands present on the market during the 70s (Tiktiner, Magdeleine Poncet, Sabrina), which exported their production mainly to France and the Middle East.

1980- 2010

High-End Wholesaler

From a local workshop to recognized expertise

In the 80s, the house pivoted to manufacturing luxury knit suits with Alcantara inlays, acting as a wholesaler for boutiques.

This allowed the business to relaunch and sell production to over a hundred high-end boutiques throughout France (Menton, Beaulieu, Nice, Cannes La Croisette, Paris, Deauville, etc.).

2010 to Today

Direct Sales to Individuals

Preserving local artisanal heritage

Since 2010, the company has opened its production to private clients to better satisfy its clientele (special measurements, large sizes up to 56 available upon request).

In addition to knitwear (wool, cashmere, cotton, etc.), the house creates bespoke fabric products (jackets, skirts, coats), alterations, and embroidery.

Tomorrow

Perpetuating Traditions

A Signature

More than a workshop, a signature. For over 50 years, our house has perpetuated the tradition of beautiful clothing in the Principality of Monaco. Equipped with traditional machinery (flat knitting machines, linking machines) and guided by a love for detail, we transform textiles into a unique and lasting experience.

Choosing Giannini means supporting local and timeless artistic craftsmanship.

Our standard lead times vary according to our workshop workload. For an urgent request (last-minute event in Monaco, quick alteration), contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Behind the Scenes of the Workshop

The Giannini family savoir-faire, passed down from mother to daughter, relies on high-quality, meticulous, and versatile craftsmanship, and long years of experience, allowing us to offer tailoring, alterations, and transformations on haute couture garments.

The collections are entirely created on-site thanks to our design, conception, and production workshop.

The machinery includes flat knitting machines for manufacturing knit panels (wool, cotton, cashmere), linking machines for assembling production, sergers, sewing machines, and embroidery machines.

Manufacturing is carried out primarily with Italian raw materials.
